Remember that not all sites have the same taste as you do and some people aren't going to agree with the consensus.

Play What Other People Recommend To You!

This seems counterintuitive because you're looking for the best PS4 game for women rather than something that everyone has already played, but sometimes just trying out a different type of game is all someone needs to get hooked. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is for anyone who has played Tomb Raider and enjoyed it. Be warned that it isn’t for everyone: The Tomb Raider trilogy is known for asking the player to reflect on all the buildings, bodies, animals, nature, etc. that they have destroyed along the way to the end of the series. If that’s not your thing, you’ve been warned!

Five million women play Overwatch because of the wide range in female protagonists and creative ways to kill. Most women can agree- it’s way more fun to play a first-person shooter if you can kill them from dropping bombs or giant gorillas.
